Service Bulletin: The Fromm P320-P325 Series is Now Officially Retired

As of last month, the Fromm P320 through P325 series has been officially designated as retired. These tools have been staples in shipping departments for years, but the production cycle for this generation has come to an end.

The Charger Bottleneck

The most critical update involves the power supply. While some mechanical components remain in circulation, the production of replacement chargers has officially ceased.

Because there are no reliable aftermarket charging solutions, a tool without a functional charger is effectively "dead in the water". If your current chargers fail, the tool becomes obsolete regardless of its mechanical condition.

Maintenance & Case-by-Case Support

Regarding ongoing repairs for the P320, P321, P322, P323, P324, and P325: we are moving to a case-by-case consultation for these models.

Because parts availability is tightening and the charger shortage creates an "expiration date" for these units, we want to ensure any investment you make in an older tool is actually viable for your operation.

  • Audit your fleet: Check the health of your existing chargers and batteries now.
  • Consult with our team: Before scheduling a major repair on a P320-series tool, contact us to discuss parts availability and whether a repair is a sound investment for that specific unit.
  • No Trade-ins: Please note that because these tools are being retired by the manufacturer, we are not offering trade-in value for this specific series.

The Migration Path: P328 & P329

To avoid downtime caused by unrepairable equipment, we recommend transitioning to the next generation of Fromm battery tools. The P328 and P329 are the current industry standards, offering significantly better battery life and faster cycle times.

Which new model replaces your old tool?

  • P320, P322, or P324: Migrate to the Fromm P328.
  • P323 or P325: Migrate to the Fromm P329.
  • P321: Depending on your strap thickness, this moves to either the P328 or P329.
